Ryan Miller fishing with Reel Aggressive Charters review

Ryan M.

Capt. Rob is the man!! I told him what I wanted to do and he did not disappoint. Capt. Rob was very accommodating making sure we had everything that we needed. His gear is top notch too. I love the Clutch rods that he has, and his boat is very dry, stable, and comfortable as well. If it swims in the southern waters of Tampa Bay Capt. Rob can help you catch it!

Inshore Fishing Charters

Sarasota fishing reportsAs a Sarasota tarpon fishing guide service, Reel Aggressive Charters will put you on the Tarpon in the waters of Sarasota. The Captains expertise will make sure your tarpon fishing dream becomes a reality. There is a reason why Capt. Rob Gilbert has a steady stream of repeat clients. Whether on the fly or light tackle spinning gear, the rush of sight casting a pushing or laid up Tarpon compares to no other fishing experience. It is truly, the catch of a lifetime, every time.

Born and raised in Sarasota Florida Rob Gilbert’s earliest memories are spending time in his family’s tackle shop. Begging his father daily to let him skip school and come to work with him. Rob learned to love a life on the waters of Sarasota at a very early age.

Picking up a fly rod for the first time at the age of seven captain Rob remembers his grandfather teaching him the basics in the front yard of his home. As Rob got older he went on countless trips with his father learning how to target inshore species in his home waters of Sarasota & Bradenton, unknowingly grooming him to be a fishing charters guide.
